City Guide: 72 Hours in Barcelona ...
By Posh Voyage

Posh Voyage’ founder and her 5-month old baby have just touched down from an unbelievable time in the lively city of Barcelona. After days of eating and exploring their way up and down the city, PV has created the ultimate city guide to fully experience this captivating city. Whether you are a hotel snob, foodie or history geek, this article is your ultimate guide.

Thursday:

11:00am- Check-in to Hotels Arts Barcelona, the most fabulous hotel in all of Barcelona. Inspired by Spanish art and cuisine, the hotel is known for it’s 24-hour personalized service. I have never experienced such a kind staff in all my years traveling, every single person had something genuinely nice to say. Located right on the Puerto Olimpico, this hotel is perfect for the young and old. *Make sure you stay in the Concierge Floor Suites. You have access to a private restaurant with amazing all-day buffet.

If you would like a hotel located closer to the city center and old part of town, the Mandarin Oriental is a great second choice. Located in a renovated 19th Century Bank, the Mandarin Oriental has been completely modernized in a very funky and charming way.

Finally, if you are more of a boutique-y kind of traveler,  you cannot miss Hotel Neri in the Barrio Gótico. This charming and quaint little property is set in two historical and aristocratic houses, being one of them a medieval palace from the XII century. The building’s original period charm has been preserved mixing it with a spectacular interior design. The location has to be the most desirable one in all of Barcelona. Set right beside the city’s Cathedral, the Hotel Neri Relais & Châteaux is a few steps away from Las Ramblas, la Boqueria market and the Picasso Museum.
